Here's an amazing survivor that you don't very often see. It's a huge tin
BOX for JAPAN TEA and holds 80 pounds. It measures 17" by 18" and is 21" tall
with Hinged Lid. Box is totally covered with the original Paper Labels with
great images. On the front there's a NATIVE AMERICAN and it says MONADNOCK
No.130 STRICTLY HIGH GRADE PAN FIRED JAPAN TEA SPECIAL IMPORTATION OF THE
HOLBROOK GROCERY CO. They were in Keene, New Hampshire and were the largest
grocery distributor in the State in the late 19th century. For over 130 years
old the condition is pretty good. Some loss and flaking of the front label as
shown. The other 3 sides labels are very good. It's AS FOUND and has not been
restored or messed with. Not rusted. Guaranteed to please the new owner or
I'll buy it back. Check my Feedback.
